  • 20 rounds at 200 yards standing (2 sighters)
  • 2 strings of 10 rounds rapid fire sitting at 200 yards (2 sighters)
  • 2 strings of 10 rounds rapid fire prone at 300 yards (2 sighters)
  • 20 rounds slow fire prone at 600 yards (2 sighters)
  • Standard NRA targets for all strings of fire.

General Information

Matches are limited to 24 competitors at this time. Sign-in begins at 8:00 AM at the rifle container. Entry fees must be paid at time of registration (cash or check).  Matches start at 8:30 AM promptly.Fees

This is an NRA registered event and current NRA rules will govern the match. Copies of the NRA rule books are available for purchase at registration. We recommend that new shooters read the rule books in advance of competing. The NRA rule books are also available at the on-line NRA store accessed via the NRA WEB page.Eligibility

Open to any individual. NRA Membership is required.Rifles and Sights

Current NRA Rules apply. Some shooters may want to participate in the match with firearms that are not eligible under the current rules and they may allowed to fire the match, however, their scores will not be recorded or filed with the NRA for shooter classification. If you need assistance determining if your firearms/sights qualify or if you will be allowed to fire the match with a disallowed firearm, please send a message to the Rifle Officer using the Contact page.Scoring and Target Changes

Scoring and target changes are performed by the Horn Lake Marine Corps JROTC cadets.Classification

The current NRA classification system will be used and unclassified shooters will compete in Master Class as per rule 19.6 in the rulebook.

 

FAQs

 

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must bring your government issued ID with you to the match.  

 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We have plenty of parking available at the range.  You will need to arrange for your own transportation to and from the range for the match, and for lunch if you will not be brining it with you.

 

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the range at any time.  Please review the Range Rules for other information.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No.

 

Can I update my registration information?

Please contact the Rifle Officer from our Contact page for any changes.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring your printed ticket to the event for proof of payment for the match.

 

What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds.

 

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

The name on the ticket must match the name on your government ID, or be closely similar.  For example, registering as Jimmy would be OK if your legal name on your ID is James.  However, if your legal name is James, registering as Hank would not be OK.
