Jack, I appreciate your honesty.
You seem like a great guy, and I enjoyed listening to YRT VS Level
As you can probably already sense, I AM A PRIMERICAN and we only ever deal with Term insurance… UL is legalized fraud and should never ever be sold to ANYONE regardless if they want it or not. UL is permanent and that’s not what life insurance’s purpose is for. Savings + Life Ins.? So many back door service fees and underwritten restrictions that will never be consumer friendly. Buy term and SEPERATELY invest the difference
I also use a 2.5% interest rate assumption, & near minimum premium. Do a comparison with straight Term coverage. Once permanent is gone….the public will be really screwed. RBC Insurance has already stopped permanent coverage. I’ve seen way too many people that come to me NEEDING coverage, their “broker” isn’t even in the business any longer, & they can’t afford their renewal premium. Tack onto this…there may be health problems that stop them applying for new coverage. Give me UL!!
I sell Level UL coverage & Term insurance. The industry is phasing out permanent insurance. Why? Because they lose money on it & WILL have to pay out some day. Term is easy to sell for the broker; it’s cheap at first but check out what happens at renewal! Premium can jump 10X!!! Folks don’t renew! Co’s make money! I mix the two. Some perm….& Term in one policy. Layered. Most coverage when needed (ie. younger), but always having some permanent coverage. Sold as insurance not investment.
There really is nothing better than just Term Insurance.
Obviously you did not watch the entire video where I tell you why I don’t like this particular product.. I was simply explaining what the differences between the two of them are. If you read my comments and see the latest interview with me on Rogers Tv also posted on this site I am very much against the UL with yrt. You should shut your mouth next time and watch the whole video.
Honest like myself my ass!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!!!!!! Do you feel comfortable ripping people off.
I would prefer VUL to a UL. A big gamble with VUL – if it is guaranteed until 85 it is safer then a UL policy bud. But without disability insurance, you could lose the life insurance due to loss of income.

You are correct in one aspect but Universal Life Insurance is what some people unfortunately want. They like playing the investment and having life insurance at the same time. Remember that the investment is paid out tax free. I personally do not support this product and have sold one Universal Life Insurance YRT yearly renewable term in my career. What you should realize is that there are two types and the one with level cost is usually cheaper then any other permanent insurance.
Univeral life insurance is legalized fraud. The policies are sold as investments, but the policies are designed to blow up when you need them most. As for the “tax advantage” it is strictly smoke and mirrors. Never buy universal life insurance.
i was wondering how you did on the 4hr body?
The YRT policy is not made for a family man. But Universal Life Insurance can be setup as a Level Cost Guaranteed Insurance. The insurance stays level for life. This would be a better option.
and this has been from every universal policy I’ve seen. It’s very sad
