This is the Halo 2 version of Halo 3! Awsome job man! Absolutly amazing!

  3. 190shepard says:

i mean ME verse loses against Halo ME is better game but another scifi crush Reapers matter what

  4. Ninerdaw1 says:

How so? Mass effect has a better and deeper story packed with incredibly memorable characters and powerful moments that have almost moved me to tears (with huge choices) plus the ability to openly explore the game’s universe as you play. While Halo is great, the characters never feel as significant to me and the only character moment that made me feel an ounce of emotion was Johnson’s death and the ending. I really didn’t care at all when Miranda died or anyone else for that matter.

    ME loses

This video is proof that we did not need to see the space battle in Halo 3 because it would have distracted from the story and focus on the Chief. Just saying, the original cutscene was perfect. Can you try to photograph your work better, you waste everything in wide shots it seems, how about a close up of something in a rather telephoto fov. Switch it up a bit.

  7. Ninerdaw1 says:

Oh cool! I did something similar where the Normandy blows up the Pillar of Autumn using scenes from ME2′s suicide mission and scenes from Combat Evolved: Anniversary. It was pretty badass but I lost the vid :/

  8. 1EscapeEntertainment says:

its not really vs. its more like a crossover of the two. like putting both elements into one video to make it seem like there are the same.

  9. Ninerdaw1 says:

    Mass Effect wins! :P

  10. 343TheSentient says:

Sure, go ahead :) Thanks for asking!

  11. 1EscapeEntertainment says:

mind if i use this for something im putting together. its a halo vs.mass effect. i will give credit to your work of course.

  12. Warkingist says:

why that? why not be IN the battle itself kinda like reach but much MUCH bigger and more challenging

  13. legoguy217 says:

Yes, but the cutscenes in MGS4 were admittedly boring. But the cutscene you’re talking about, is a battle. The player needs to be involve. And if it’s a cutscene where you hit buttons to interact. Then it ends up being a 10 minute quick time event with the word ‘quick’ cut out. And even then it wouldn’t be as fun unless you are actually controlling the ship, turret, etc. What I’m getting at is Halo is a game, not a movie. 343 is already working on a web series. Fffffffuck this is a long comment.

  14. church348 says:

if metal gear solid could get away with an hour long cutscene im sure halo can get away with a ten minute one.

  15. legoguy217 says:

A 10 minute cutscene while the player sits back and says to himself. “Gee, I wish I could be having that much fun right now.”

  16. 343TheSentient says:

    They really should!
I remember hoping for something like that in Reach, at least we got space combat though. Halo 4 might have some potential for space battles since apparently a halo comes to the shield world (unless the main menu is just for visual appeal). But yeah, 10 minutes of a halo space battle would be amazing :D

  17. church348 says:

in either halo 5 or 6 they need an epic 10 minute long cinematic space battle that puts both mass effect and star wars to shame. i would say halo 4, but it doesn’t seem like one would fit if the entire game is supposed to take place on the shield world

  18. jwjoyner1998 says:

it was first used at sigma octanius right i dont think i spelledc it right though

  19. maximaldinotrap says:

No it isn’t, it is a lot more complicated and next to impossible without a shipboard A.I which Keyes didn’t have (hence why it is named after him)
